Chinese yuan – the official currency of the Republic of China. It is subdivided into 100 fen. The international currency code of the Chinese yuan is CNY.
Banknotes in circulation have nominal value of 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 yuan.
Rarely used coins are 0.01, 0.02 and 0.05 yuan, and more often in circulation are coins in denominations of 0.1, 0.5 and 1 yuan.
